Service Description

Got a stretchy wrap but not too sure how to use it? Then this is the session for you. Please bring a stretchy wrap if you have one. I have a couple which can be shared out and everyone can take turns. We will be tying and untying several times throughout the session. The more you practice the less you will have to think about it when putting it on! We will be starting from the beginning, how best to start wrapping, how to gather the material, how to tie it on you, how to get baby into the wrap, how to tighten/loosen and how to take baby out. The aim of the session is to practice tying the stretchy wrap. The benefits of a wrap are many, one of the main ones being that once tied you can leave it on all day and pop baby in and out whenever you want giving you more hands free time whilst also enjoying a nice cuddle. A stretchy can be a lifesaver with a colicky or reflux baby too as it means you can keep them upright for linger whilst their digestive system is still developing. It's also a great way to bond with your little one and can be especially useful if you have another little one running around too! There will be plenty of tea, coffee and scruffy biscuits provided too.
