What, when, where, how, why?
Babywearing is one of the easiest ways to help soothe and settle baby.
Not only does it give them a constant tummy massage but it is also tummy time, they get their fix of some gorgeous oxytocin (as do you!), they can hear you, smell you, hear your heartbeat, see you and touch you.
It can be one of the fastest ways to calm a baby but also it can help you to be hands free.
It is also one of the closest things to being back in the womb so can help to be a beautiful, gentle transition from womb to world.
Once a month there will be a Sling Library meet up in Winchester and once a month it will be at Places Leisure Centre (lots of free parking).
You are most welcome to come along at any time during the 2 hours duration but please be mindful that this is not a full sling consult and likely to only be around 15 minutes or so. This enables me to help as many people as possible. A suggested donation of £3.00 would be most welcome to help keep the library running, this just goes a little ways towards the room hire and I personally top it up and bring the teas, coffees and yummy treats too.
All donations and sling rental goes straight back into the library to train new peer supporters (so we can help more people!) and also for the upkeep and buying new slings so any and all donations are very gratefully received.
You can come at ANY time during the two hour session and have a cuppa, treat and chat. There will always been some toys to entertain the little ones too.
There will be a £25.00 returnable deposit for all hires.
Hire is monthly and is £20.00 per month (from Sling meet to the following sling meet which is approximately a month).
Private consults are via booking only.
Can be offered in the comfort of your own home.
1.5 hours is £75.00
A months Sling hire is included in this (saving you £20.00 for the month) with a £25.00 returnable deposit chargeable via card payment during the appointment.
Travel included within 10 minutes surrounding Winchester and Southampton.
All private consults include a hot cuppa, treat, baby wearing info and safety sheets and mini goody bag.
